Town Hall meeting held at CCL's Head Office

LAHORE, FEB. 2019: “Warm welcome to the Employee Town Hall amid thunder and rain,” remarked a chirpy Shoaib Ahmed, Chief Human Resource Officer CCL who greeted over 225 CCL employees from the Head Office and Plant who had gathered in a cozy hall to attend the town hall meeting. He also walked through the concerns which were raised in the past Town Hall meet.
Kashif Sajjad Sheikh, MD and CEO of CCL highlighted the past 6-month performance beginning with the Vision and Mission. “I am delighted that we are already on track in our pursuit of launching innovative products with an achievement of 112% in the past 6 months, while our new product ranking improved from 6 to 3 as per IQVIA – Q4, 2018. When it comes to new segments, we are exploring MABS, Dermacosmaceuticals, Inhalers DPI-MDI, Pain/ Analgesia,

Carbapenems, ICU antibiotics and some of these projects are already in process,” he remarked. He continued with highlights related to each strategic pillar of the corporate strategy.
He also talked about key targets of 2018-2019, challenges and the way forward. “Improving target achievement, exceeding our goals in innovation, cost-optimization and restructuring are some of the priorities in the next few months,” he added. “Keep living values day in and day out and that’s the only success mantra that you can depend on,” he said. Employees thanked and appreciated his continued efforts by offering a gesture of standing ovation at the end of his presentation as it was his last town hall as MD and CEO of CCL.

Later Dr. Shahzad Khan took the audience through the business weather report. “When it comes to the overall business performance we are partly sunny,” he said; he delved into the status of each target with insightful details.
This was followed by CCL’s 10-year challenge and its journey of transformation comparing status of various departments / work quantum today and 10 years ago, which was lauded profusely. Later employees got a chance to ask questions to the Executive Committee in the segment, EXCOM on the Hot Seat.
