A series of three exciting and fun-filled events were recently held to celebrate CCL’s Annual Sales Conference 2017 at the Pearl Continental Hotel in Islamabad, Nishat Hotel in Lahore and Pearl Continental Hotel in Karachi respectively. Reflecting the motivational theme of Josh-e-Parwaz, the conferences aimed to acknowledge the outstanding efforts of the whole sales team.
In each event, Management Committee members and senior managers stood at the reception to shower rose petals as screaming sales team stepped in the hall. “It’s always a pleasure to be here among all the champions. Thank you all for coming here and I know that some of you have come a long way. We all have been working hard work throughout the year but there must be some time for some fun too,” remarked Kashif Sajjad Sheikh, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, CCL.
He also talked about the global pharmaceutical market, branded generic market share, highlights of the year and the corporate vision and strategy with highlights and lowlights of 2017. “If the sales team is not aligned to our vision and over 2000 hearts are not beating together in one musical rhythm, trust me our strategy and vision will remain a fantasy,” he added.
Later Dr. Shahzad Khan, Chief Operating Officer CCL Pharmaceuticals, presented some insightful milestones that CCL had achieved throughout the year and thanked the teams for all the outstanding work. “You just heard the vision of the organization but I must say that unless our sales force is effective we cannot achieve this vision,” he said. He also shared the fairy tale success story of Sita in local market and in Sri Lanka.
The events were alive with rollicking fun, lively dancing, shrieking laughter, cheering and entertaining skits by sales teams while chirpy Naveeda Nisar, HRBP Marketing and Sales and witty Rizwan-ur-Rasheed, Business Unit Manager, hosted the events. Incidentally the skit on the life of an SPO was highly appreciated. The conferences also included some business sessions and each evening was signed off by soulful numbers in the velvety voice of celebrated singer Naeem Abbas Rufi.
As CCL believes in rewarding its high performing employees, he also mentioned the names of the winners who were rewarded with cash prizes. Over 77 promotions were announced in these three sessions whereas 75 motor cycles were also distributed among those who went extra mile during the past year.
