CCL signs MoU on diabetic foot with BIDE

Over 50 doctors attend training workshop on diabetic foot.
KARACHI, JULY 2018: The Sales and Marketing team – Pharmaceuticals – recently organized a ceremony to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between CCL and the Department of Diabetic Foot, Baqai Institute of Diabetology& Endocrinology (BIDE), Karachi.

The objectives of this agreement are training of healthcare professionals and creating awareness about diabetic foot complications. A training workshop on diabetic foot was arranged before the MoU signing ceremony, which was attended by over 50 doctors. The workshop was conducted by Dr. ZahidMiyan, Head of Diabetic Foot Department at BIDE.
“Foot care is an especially important part of care for people with diabetes. Some of the effects of the disease increase the risk of foot problems and also increases the likelihood of complications but proper foot care and attention can prevent most serious foot complications,” remarked DrMiyan.

The main purpose of the Diabetic Foot Clinic at BIDE is to provide comprehensive foot care for all diabetic patientsincluding the management of foot ulcers, identifying patients at risk and the prevention of common foot disorders.
