CCL Management Trainee Program attracts ‘future leaders' from top universities

LAHORE, JULY 2018:CCL’s Management Trainee Program was recently launched and shortlisting of candidates is underway to find future leaders who may be at the helm of CCL affairs in years to come.

“We arequite happy at the rousing response received from some of the leading universities in Pakistan. We believe that as part of our strategy, we will develop potential leaders with competencies and skills through a yearlong cross-functional project training and on-job development for their present and future rolesand excited to welcome them to the CCL Family,” remarkedShoaib Ahmed, Chief Human Resource Officer at CCL.

The Talent Acquisition team visited 3 leading institutes including Lahore School of Economics, University of Engineering and Technology and Lahore University of Management Sciences. As part of campusdrive ran by the HR function of CCL. More than 200 candidates had applied for the program out of which around 45 were shortlisted for the final interview.

“The program encompasses rotations within and across functions in an accelerated learning environment. This includes extended leadership contact, formal training and professional development,” remarked Syed Kashif Sajjad, Talent and Organization.

The program offers incumbents unlimited mentoring and coaching opportunities from leadersbeing a management trainee buddy, a rigorous orientation program and training and market competitive salary and perks. The program targets recent graduates or about to graduate with a bachelor or master’s degree.

The preliminary interviews were conducted on the campuses of these institutesby the Human Resource function and concerned department managers. Next step will be to invite the shortlisted candidates to the CCL Head Office for a short presentation in front of staff (CCL Sitara session) and interviews with ExCom, which will be followed by a sign-up ceremony of selected candidates.
