CCL joins hands with Pakistan Psychiatry Society (PPS)
One in every eight people in the world lives with a mental disorder and more than 20 million Pakistanis, 10% of the country’s population, suffer from some form of mental health condition. Due to the lack of mental health literacy, those suffering from mental illness also have to bear the prejudices associated with their condition and they are too embarrassed or afraid to discuss and access professional help for their mental suffering. CCL joins hands with Pakistan Psychiatry Society (PPS) to launch Pakistan’s first ever Virtual Mental Health Assistant “Khushi Chatbot” to guide people with their mental health related queries.
