LAHORE, MAR. 2018: The annual prize distribution ceremony was recently held at the Dilawar Hussain Foundation Primary School to mark the successful completion of the academic session 2017-2018.
In a bid to encourage the students who clinched top positions in all classes, i.e., nursery to class 5 were awarded shields and trophies. On this occasion more than 45 students were awarded for their outstanding academic performance.
The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by a few entertaining acts including a tableau performance, fashion show and a peace song performance. The special act of the ceremony was the performance of students on saving tree. Zulfiqar Ali Zulfi (Director Program, Alhamra Arts Council, Lahore, Recipients of the Pride of Performance Award, was the chief guest of the ceremony, who distributed awards among the students.
He also appreciated the efforts of Dilawar Hussian Foundation’s staff for making their students a responsible member of the society. Dr Afshan Mir, board member of DHF was also present on the occasion. She distributed awards among school teachers for their remarkable performance and contribution. At the end, Mohammad Jafri, Program Director DHF expressed his gratitude to chief guest and Dr Afshan Mir and appreciated school staff for their endeavors.
