LAHORE, JAN. 2019: The Talent and Organizational Development team in HR recently conducted a 10-hour exclusive in-house customized training session on Service Oriented Negotiation Skills this week at the Royal Palm Golf and Country Club. The training was attended by over 45 participants from Procurement, M&S – PH, CH, IntOps, Marketing Services, Engineering and Planning. The training content was developed for cross-functional teams, which are actively involved in various commercial/non-commercial negotiations both inside and outside.
“The key to business success today is customer centricity and empathy and what could be a better tool to understand this than negotiation,” remarked Dr. Shahzad Khan, CCL’s Chief Operating Officer.
“Negotiation is an art and skill that is applied in almost all personal and professional settings. Everyone has to identify what negotiation strategies may be used at which situation and we need to grab some implementable learnings from this very well designed training once we go back,” remarked Mansoor Lodhi, Director Supply Chain.
The training is part of CCL’s continuous commitment on focused development of our people and is in line with overall learning and development strategy. “The contents, topics and case studies of the training were customized as a result of many focus group sessions with line managers and directors in order to make a worthwhile learning experience for participants, “said Syed Kashif Sajjad, General Manager Talent and OD, CCL.
