In order to reinforce the strengths of the DSMs & SMs pertaining to their technical knowledge and to equip them with the latest clinical data regarding their respective products, a 4 day training session “TARAQI – O – KAMAL” was arranged from 20th – 24th of November in Lahore. 41 DSMs & SMs of Advance and Exemplar teams from all across the country attended the session. Apart from a comprehensive training on products & its respective therapeutic areas, understanding and presentation of clinical data and product’s detailing were also a part of this program which was a true example of “Collaborate to Win” by Marketing, Medical and Training Function.
Muhammad Akram – Commercial Director welcomed the participants and shed light on this innovative initiative to fortify the strengths of 1st & 2nd line managers so that they can develop their teams and create a difference in front of customers. He drew the attention of the participants on the expanding vacuum in the market in terms of knowledge & Skills and guide them to prepare themselves to fill this gap as first movers. Shahid Malik – Head of Marketing & Sales Specialty Business, advised the participants to grasp this learning opportunity which is a one of a kind in the industry, and execute their learning in the field and team development.
Interacting with the participants, Dr. Shahzad Khan – MD & CEO of CCL Pharmaceuticals said “we are in the phase of Transformation and transformation required willingness to change”. He elaborated on the four steps of transformation; understand the theory first, translate that theory into actions, team support & small appreciations. To be habitual of doing good things, repeat them again & again, he added. The session was concluded by Shoaib Ahmed – CHRO, highlighting the family culture and future opportunities in CCL. He also settled the queries raised by the participants regarding their professional matters.
