LAHORE, APRIL 2019: A training workshop was recently held at the Sea Shell Banquet Hall in Lahore by Pakistan Pharma Technocrats Association (PPTA) where Irfan Sohail from CCL’s Regulatory Affairs function presented a lecture on Export of Pharmaceutical Products – Conception to Execution. Over 200 participants from industry, academia, regulatory and other disciplines participated in this training workshop.
Irfan emphasized on the need of pharmaceutical exports for the country, which has been on decline in the past year. “There are four key pillars, which can foster pharmaceutical exports, i.e. management, product, facility and government support. Companies must have a corporate export strategy and they should develop product as per ICH guidelines. Another important step is uplifting of facility in the light of PIC/S guidelines,” remarked Irfan. He also presented a road map for pharmaceutical export from conception to execution along with challenges.
