LAHORE, MAY 2018: Dilawar Hussain Foundation recently organized a free daylong diabetes screening camp for the residents of the Fountain House. The objective of the screening camp was to identify asymptomatic individuals who may have diabetes and not know it, and refer them to Dilawar Hussain Foundation Clinic and Diabetes Management Center or other qualified healthcare professionals for additional assessment.
Over 252 residents of the Fountain House benefited from the diabetes screening camp among which 11 were diagnosed as diabetics and 34 as pre-diabetics. Office bearers of Fountain House, Brig (Rtd.) Abid Ali and Usman Goraya visited the camp and expressed their appreciation of the provision of diabetes screening facilities to the members. Those with positive screening results will have access to free constancy and quality medicine at DHF Diabetes Management Center.
