LAHORE, May 2019: Over 50 students of the Department of Physiotherapy and Department of Nutritional Sciences of University of Management & Technology, Lahore recently visited the CCL Plant. The visit was part of CCL’s ongoing activities to passionately serve communities as part of its vision while highlighting the value of cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) in meeting the requirements of patients and healthcare community.
Students were greeted by Irfan Sohail, Senior Manager Regulatory Affairs CCL, Admin, Warehouse, Production and Quality team who gave them a tour of the facility. “We strive to play an active role in the communities we operate in and this starts with being a responsible entity. Achieving quality excellence is part of CCL’s ambition because we believe it is crucial for a sustainable future,” explained Irfan to the students.
Students were shown Quality lab, Warehouse, Oral Liquid and Solid areas. “Today I learnt that CCL’s manufacturing plant in Lahore is a modern facility, which complies with the current Good Manufacturing Practices, and is run by qualified and skilled staff who ensure quality production as per cGMP standards,” remarked Saima, a student who was one of the visitors.
